Southern Oncology Specialists is Hiring a Patient financial counselor Near Huntersville, NC
An independent oncology office in Huntersville has an immediate opening for a patient financial counselor.
This position is responsible for insurance verification and eligibility, assessment of patient financial requirements, counseling patients on insurance benefits and co-payments and obtaining pre-authorization of services. Scheduling radiology and outside referrals. Will also work with our pharmacy and benefits, eligibility.
The right candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year medical Business office experience specifically with insurance and authorizations.
Full time with benefits.
